A creative outpost for filmmakers. Much like a band might lock themselves away to complete an album, we offer premium production and post-production services overlooking the Atlantic Ocean for filmmakers to get away from the city and focus on their craft.

Errigal Studios
A premium production studio coming to Donegal.
Errigal Studios is the ambitious next step for North West Pictures. Developed by the team behind The Bothy, Errigal Studios will be a premium screen production studio offering large scale sound stage space including full production service offices and supports. Acting as a gateway to the spectacular locations of the wild Atlantic coast, the studio will be a production hub for the North West of Ireland.

Anna Mannion
FOUNDER & CEO - Tri Moon Films
Anna Mannion set up Tri Moon films in 2019. Anna and Sam recently co-produced the feature film, ‘You’ll Never Believe Who’s Dead’ with Wildcard Distribution and Fine Point Films. In 2022, she won the Netflix Women’s Producer Pitching Award at the Venice Film Festival for Tri Moon’s series “The Girl and the Ghost”. Prior to this, Anna worked Script Development, Production Management, and Production Accountancy. Anna has worked on numerous award-winning TV shows for some of the most prestigious
production companies, including Tiger Aspect and Hat Trick Productions. -
Sam Atwell
CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER - Tri Moon Films
Sam Atwell produced Northern Lights with Lionsgate, Deadpan and Potemkino for TG4 and ZDF. He was the Drama Development Executive for RTÉ where he was across their development slate and shows in production like Smother, North Sea Connection and Hidden Assets. Sam was the script producer and director for RTÉ’s, Fair City, and the inhouse Story Editor for the animation company JAM media. In Australia he worked in the theatre and screen, predominately for Channel Seven’s, Home and Away, as an actor, scriptwriter, script-editor, storyliner and director. -
Sophie Pearson
FOUNDER - Sophie Pearson Casting
Sophie Pearson began her casting career at Hubbard Casting, working on films including Journey’s End (dir. Saul Dibb), The More You Ignore Me (dir. Keith English), Time of Our Lives (dir. Roger Goldby), and Star Fish (dir. Bill Clark). Then as a Casting Director with Des Hamilton Casting, she contributed to projects such as Hilma (dir. Lasse Hallström), Netflix’s Top Boy, The King (dir. David Michôd), and Jojo Rabbit (dir. Taika Waititi). In 2023, Sophie set up Sophie Pearson Casting and has cast feature films including Vows (starring Sarah Parish and Eddie Marsan) and The Man With The Urn (starring Ciarán Hinds, Olga Kurylenko, and Stephen Fry). She also works alongside Dan Hubbard Casting on projects such as The Gentlemen (dir. Guy Ritchie) and The Rage (dir. Paul Greengrass).

Eileen Rafferty
CO-FOUNDER - The Bothy & Errigal Studios
Film & TV producer and Donegal native Eileen Rafferty brings 20 years production experience into North West Pictures. She spent 10 years at London’s top advertising agencies producing multi-million euro international ad campaigns for clients including Sky, Santander, Glenmorangie and Churchill. In 2016 she co-founded The Bothy. Eileen now specialises in long form TV and Film drama, working as Associate Producer on Antonia Campbell-Hughes’ acclaimed It Is In Us All (Pale Rebel), and Line Producer on The Lightkeeper (Sepia Films), Three Urns (Samson Films) and both series of the TG4/BBC hit Crá(Fíbín Media).Alongside David, Eileen is developing Errigal Studios, a premium production studio in the North West. Eileen is available as Producer or Line Producer.

David Stevens
CO-FOUNDER - The Bothy & Errigal Studios
An editor by trade, David Stevens has 20 years’ experience in film, TV, documentaries and award-winning promos & commercials for clients such as Lexus, Sony, and Mercedes and artists including Elton John, Harry Styles and Mick Jagger and broadcasters BBC, RTÉ, C4, TG4, Discovery and Sky.
Since co-founding The Bothy in 2016, David has blended edit work with creative development, originating and developing drama and comedy with writers and producers based in Ireland and the UK as well as earning writing credits on web-based comedy First Dogs, WEBBY nominated Drag Dinner and BBC documentary Queen James.
Alongside Eileen, David is developing Errigal Studios, a premium production studio in the North West. David also brings his vast experience in overseeing post-production services out of The Bothy.
